Do Traffic Exchanges work?

Traffic Exchanges are the subject of fierce debate amongst Internet Marketers for every SEO expert and PPC devotee that says that they don’t work there are rival marketers who will state unequivocally that they do work.

I use them, well actually I just pay for their advertising, I don’t spend much time at all clicking.

Internet Marketing household names like Ewan Chia, Mike Filsaime, James Grandstaff and Graham Hamer all have successfully used Traffic Exchanges to generate leads  and from there they have built strong business’

Of course they used other methods as well, but all of them would tell you that Traffic Exchanges did help them build their business and the key is that they used them to farm leads.

They didn’t try to sell anything – they offered more information via squeeze pages and then they actively followed up with well written informative emails, and reports so that hey built a relationship with the customer.

People don’t buy  from Traffic Exchanges but they are looking for help  -it’s a great way to build a list if you’re operating in the “make money” niche.

The key ids to build a qulaity report and or follow up series first and then design and test several lead capture pages – then refine them as you go – just like an adwords campaign – only less expensive

Here are several of my preferred Traffic Exchanges and resources.

Newly release by TE “legend” Tony Tezak, Tezak Traffic Power looks to be a great resource

I’ve found Farm Traffic to be very effective for me since its release some three months ago.

I used to track everything religously but now use Google analytics to track squeeze page effectiveness and rely uponTraffic Hoopla’s rankking system to let me know which Traffic Exchanges are performing best.  You can join TRaffic Hoopla by clicking the banner below

So in summary here is my recommendation with Traffic Exchanges

1/Use Traffic Hoopla to reference the best performing Traffic Exchanges

2/Set up a sales funnel containing a report and follow up system that will build trust and rapport with your subscribers

3/Design several squeeze pages and test their effectiveness.  Discard the worst performing one and try to refine your squeeze page further

4/When you’ve hit upon a winning formula – buy some advertsing from the better performing exchanges.
