CPA – The Hidden World of Affiliate Marketing
CPA (Cost Per Action) is an on line advertising pricing model where the advertiser pays for each specified action – this could be a purchase, a form submission or in some cases, simply a website visit.
This represents a great opportunity for the affiliate marketer – it stands to reason that it will be easier to get somebody to sign up for more information about a product or service than to actually purchase it.
Typically, Pay per lead CPA programs will pay somewhere between $1 and $5 for leads to sweepstakes entries and program entries. A fairly typical example is shown here.
The program is directed to a US audience, if you are from another country the CPA network will immediately direct you to an offer more suited to your location.
The offer pays $3 per lead, so a well targeted campaign could net you ten, twenty, or more leads per day.
This is one CPA offer from one CPA affiliate network. There are literally hundreds of these offers on hundreds of networks, the trick is to find one that will convert that you can direct highly targeted traffic to. This is not as easy as it looks but determination and patience, plus some initial advertising expenses can prove quite lucrative.
