Posting a review on Mark Dulisse’s New Product IM Niche Formula 2.0 is almost counter productive because the competition from Mark’s students in products like IM Niche Formula 1.0 means that getting seriously ranked in Google for this launch is at best a lottery.

This guy delivers the goods.

And his story is becoming the stuff of legend – how he went from an out of work single father of three to earning $25000 per month online.

Let’s cut to the chase.

Most product launches go over old territory.  Clickbank, adwords, adsense, cpa offers.

They all include screen shots, and “video proof “of their successes.

None of them tell you that these guys have probably worked their butts off for years to get the level of success that they claim to have.  None of them say how much money they spend on Google Adwords.  None of them say how many staff they have working for them.

How many people work for Mike Filsaime for example?

Do you think he sits at home by himself and has these wonderful ideas that he diligently writes the program for, then produces the product, writes the sales copy, prepares the launch material and buys the traffic.

If you do, then it’s time to wake up and smell the coffee.

I have nothing against Mike, he’s a great marketer with some good products, but his business is so upscale that you can’t hope to emulate him unless you’re prepared to upscale like him and to take the risks that he undoubtedly took.

Nothing is easy.  It takes work, time, patience and research and frankly none of it is overly sexy (apart from when the cheques come in)

Yes there are good product launches that come along, I have reviewed several over the past 12 months.

Yes there are innovative ideas and techniques that people employ, but simply copying and pasting the published methods of an alleged guru along with the thousand or so others doing exactly the same thing won’t cut the mustard.

And here’s something else that these guru’s do time and again.

They get you in for $47, $77 or $97 and then they say look you’ll earn a little bit doing this but if you want to supercharge your efforts you need access to my inner circle and it costs (normally on a monthly basis)

And here’s what really gets up my nose with these “Adwords champions” at some point they’re going to spill the beans and say they learned everything they know from Perry Marshall.

The same book that I read once every couple of months.
The same book that has taught me more about marketing than any other.
The same Perry Marshall who’s emails I look forward to every week.

These guys know no more than I do about Adwords.

Before I go into how you are supposed to build links and where those links should be pointing, I want to make clear about what an effective link is. An effective link should come from a relevant page, a page that is based on a theme of a page you are linking to. The link must also come from a page with high Page Rank, this may be difficult at first but will improve as your site builds credibility. Finally a link should also be anchored with your targeted keywords, this will increase your keyword authority.

So where these links should be pointing. Well you be supposed to create a page based on one or two targeted keywords. Then you should effort to create quality links to each page that you create. So if you had 30 keywords you wanted to target you would have to create 20 – 30 pages with links going back to all of them. This is what is known as deep linking and will immensely improve your search engine marketing campaign.

Keyword Integration:

Integrate your keyword phrases into each page’s unique Title tag. Title tags are important because they’re given a lot of power to every search engine. Make sure that it precisely reflects the content of the page it’s on, while also using the keyword phrases people might be using at a search engine to find your stuff.

These SEO tips and tricks are those tips and tricks that will never change and tips that if completed right will leave you in advance of most competition. The main thing to remember is relevancy. The more relevant your link and keywords the more useful it will be.

As I said at the start of the article, most SEO tips will change and modify as time goes on but relevant, high quality, anchored links deep linking to your site and integrate keyword phrases into each page’s unique Title tag is something that will not be changing anytime soon.

 Domain Names And Seo

The significance of domain names in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) must not be ignored, nor should it be exaggerated. Relevant, keyword-containing domain names can be helpful in the accomplishment of SEO goals, but are not a replacement for inbound links or search engine friendly web design.

Just as search engines are more likely to return results which have the user’s search keyword(s) in their text or titles, they also take each web page’s domain name and URL into consideration. This means that such names are among several different SEO elements which contribute to determining the rank/position of each page. It also indicates that content related to the domain name of your site is more likely to rank well.

For example, someone might search on MSN for "250mb Zip disks" they are interested in purchasing. If one website has a related title, good keyword density, and ten relevant inbound links, but another page has all of these positive SEO factors plus an associated domain name (like "zip-disks.com"), it will probably be ranked above the first site. It may even rank ahead of sites with slightly better search optimization.

However, pages can have good domain names but not be competitive with other sites in different SEO categories, causing them to receive poorer rankings. For example, radio.com doesn’t have the highest position for "radio" on Yahoo! or Google, and example.com isn’t anywhere in the first five pages. On the other hand, shopping.com does have the top position for "shopping" on three of the top four engines.

Basically, it’s good to obtain an SEO oriented domain name which is both relevant to the website’s subject and contains keywords that people search for, but it isn’t everything. Many websites have become quite successful with domain names that don’t directly relate to their topic (or match relevant search keywords), such as Amazon, Dogpile, and eBay.
